DELHI, NY (April 2, 2022) - The SUNY Delhi men's tennis team won another North Atlantic Conference match, this time against Northern Vermont University - Lyndon with a score of 6-3. Leading the way once again was Jared Rackliffe.
Rackliffe and his doubles partner, Christopher Balogh, stayed unbeaten on the season with their win at number one doubles winning 8-1. He then went into his number one singles match and didn't lose a single game winning both sets 6-0. Delhi also picked up a win at number three doubles where Ryoto Yoshinaga and Daniel Distasio picked up with victory by a score of 8-2.
Behind Rackliffe in the singles, the Broncos picked up three other wins at number four, five and six singles. In the four slot, Ryoto Yoshinaga won 6-1, 7-5. In the number five singles match, Kyle Gonda won 6-4, 6-4 and in the number six singles match, Daniel Distasio was 6-3, 5-7, 6-1.
The team will finish the three match weekend Sunday when they play host to Northern Vermont University - Johnson starting at 1pm.
