Andy Ringler is in his first season as the men's soccer assistant coach for the 2017-18 season. A native of Richmond, Mass., Ringler was a former teammate of head coach Brian Mitko at Skidmore College.

Ringler was a four-year men’s soccer player at Skidmore from 2011 to 2014, and was named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team his sophomore, junior and senior year. He and Mitko were teammates for his first two years. Throughout his collegiate career, Ringler worked at a school for Autism, and studied abroad in New Zealand in the spring of 2014. Ringler graduated in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in History.

Most recently, the Massachusetts native served as a professional ski instructor in Breckenridge, Colo, teaching children ages six to 14. He holds certifications as a PSIA Alpine Level 1 Ski Instructor and a Wilderness First Responder, as well as being CPR certified. Ringler has also been a Leader for Wilderness Adventures around Jackson Hole, Mont. and Yellowstone, guiding and leading groups on backcountry areas, while teaching ecological awareness. He also has held down several positions as a youth and special needs coach, counselor and instructor.
