Broncos Drop Hard-Fought 2-0 Decision at Alfred State

The SUNY Delhi men's soccer team, fresh off a 7-1 win at Davis on Wednesday, visited Alfred State on Friday with hopes of starting the year at 2-0. SUNY Delhi outshot Alfred State, 14-9, but it would be the Pioneers who would deliver the scores Friday evening, as the Broncos dropped a hard-fought 2-0 decision.

Alfred State scored a goal in each half. Ku Reh provided the first score off a crossing pass in the 21st minute, with Kory Zimmer delivering the second goal at the 60-minute mark. Marcos Andrino had three saves for the Broncos as he fell to 1-1. Alfred State's Vince Biancuzzo tallied five saves. The offsides struggle also played factor in the match, with the Broncos called offsides six times, compared to two for the Pioneers.
