STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (October 8, 2019) – Four Broncos earned First Team All-American status Tuesday as the SUNY Delhi men's golf team finished second at the USCAA National Championships with a 294 (+6) score. Daniel Christy, Alex Fisher, Aaron Oliver, and individual competitor Zach Barrett all shot a 72 even score to tie for fifth on the leaderboard. The Broncos finished two strokes behind Saint Mary of the Woods, who won their second straight title with a 292 (+4).

Competing at the par-72 Penn State Blue Course, Brandon Palmer and Jarrett McWilliams accounted for the remainder of Delhi's team scoring, with Palmer shooting a 78 (+6) for 29th place, while McWilliams carded a 79 (+7) for 36th place. Jason Cyr competed individually, carrying an 85 (+13) to place 74th.

Tuesday's finish marked SUNY Delhi's second straight silver national placement and third overall since 2015. The Broncos won the 2017 team title, as well as placing third in their USCAA debut in 2014. Fisher, a senior, earned his second straight First Team All-American placement in his fourth and final USCAA appearance. Oliver and Christy both earned their first nods to the First Team and second overall as All-Americans. Barrett earned First Team in his USCAA debut. The USCAA Championships were slated for two days between Monday and Tuesday, but Monday's portion was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Tuesday's competition serves as a prescursor for the men's trip this weekend at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships at the Waterville Country Club in Oakland, Me. In their first appearance last year, the Broncos finished second, with Christy winning the individual championship.
