Men's Golf Places 13th at AIIs, Christy Leads Broncos with 27th-Place Finish

PHOENIX, Ariz. (May 2, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team wrapped up the two-day, three-round AII Championships on Tuesday scoring a 337 to finish 13th overall with a 984 scoring total. Freshman Daniel Christy again led the Broncos by carding an 81 in round three to place 27th with a team-best 234 total. The competition took place at the par-72, 7,430-yard Wigwam Golf Course.

Russell Herbert tallied an 85 Tuesday to finish second on Delhi in 52nd place with a 248 total score. Alex Fisher scored an 84 to finish 58th with a 250, while Ryan Florack clubbed an 87 for 63rd place at 252. Aaron Oliver finished with an 87 to take 66th place with a 261 total.

Our Lady of the Lake won the team championship on a playoff tiebreaker after they and Victoria both finished with an 897 total.
