BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (April 22, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team competed this weekend at Skidmore College's Dr. Tim Brown Invitational at the par-71, 6,310-yard Ballston Spa Country Club. The Broncos finished eighth in the two-day tournament with a 641, led by Daniel Christy scoring a 158. The freshman shot an 83 on day one, then rebounded with a 75 on day two for an eight-stroke improvement. He placed tied for 29th individually.
Alex Fisher shot a 159 (78, 81) to tie for 36th on the leaderboard. Aaron Oliver (81, 81) and Jonathan Smolen (84, 78) both finished tied for 48th with a 162, while Ryan Florack totaled a 173 (88, 85).
Coach Dave Arehart's team are back on the fairway this Wednesday, traveling to face Valley Forge in a dual match at the Kimberton Golf Club in Phoenixville, Pa.
