Fisher, Christy, Palmer Lead Team vs. Hamilton

DELHI, N.Y. (April 14, 2018) – SUNY Delhi men's golf wrapped up a busy spring break on Saturday with a home match against Hamilton at the College Golf Course. For the second straight competition, Alex Fisher led the Broncos, tallying a 77 to tie for third, as the team combined for a 316 score. The Continentals finished with a 306.

Daniel Christy finished right behind Fisher with a 78 for a tie for fifth, while Ryan Florack carded an 80 for a tied for tenth finish. Aaron Oliver posted an 81 for 12th place, as Joseph Burgin scored an 84 for 14th place. The trio of Brandon Palmer, Jonathan Smolen and Derek Firment competed individually. Palmer tied with Christy for fifth scoring a 78, Smolen tied for eighth with a 79 and Firment took 17th place with an 88.

Saturday marked coach Dave Arehart's team's third and final competition of spring break, marking their fifth day of competition in six days. The Broncos now have a week to rest up before participating at Skidmore's Tim Brown Invitational on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22.
