(September 23, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team holds a 13-stroke lead through most of the first day at the Utica College Invitational, with Broncos Alex Fisher (two-over-par) and John Russell Herbert (three-over-par) in second and third, respectively, on the individual leaderboard. Play was suspended on Saturday due to darkness, with play resuming immediately tomorrow. The two-day event is being held at the par-71, 6,792-yard Yahnundasis Golf Club.

Jonathan Smolen and Ryan Florack are tied for eighth place, with each holding a nine-over-par. Aaron Oliver is 11th with a ten-over-par, while Daniel Christy is 14th at 11-over-par. Joseph Burgin stands in 19th with a 13-over-par.
