Haight Leads Broncos with Ninth-Place Finish as Delhi Places Fourth at Roberts Wesleyan

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 18, 2017) – The trio of Corey Haight, Russell Herbert and Ryan Florack earned top-12 positions on Monday to help the Delhi "A" team take fourth place at the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawk Invitational. The Broncos "A" squad, which also consisted of Alex Fisher and Daniel Christy, finished with a 625, shooting 319 on Sunday and 306 on Monday. Rochester won the eight-team tourney with a 599. The event took place at the Ridgemont Country Club.

Haight led the Broncos with a 154, shooting a 77 both days. Herbert turned in a three-stroke improvement from his first day, shooting a 76 on his way to a 155 to place 11th. Florack improved by eight strokes on day two, tallying a 74 to finish 12th at 156. Fisher gathered a 79 to place 21st at 163 and Christy shot 85 to place 26th at 166.

Jonathan Smolen led the Broncos "B" team with a 162, shooting a 77 on the second day as the B's finished sixth with a 664 total. Joseph Burgin was 24th with a 165, shooting a 79 on Monday, while Aaron Oliver had an 83 to finish 27th with a 168. Brandon Palmer tallied an 85 to place 29th with a 169, while Frank Gargano had a 90 to place 35th at 181.
