Men's Golf Holds Two-Stroke Lead over The Apprentice School After Day One

DELHI, N.Y. (September 2, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team holds a two-stroke lead over The Apprentice School, 309-311, after the first day of competition at the College Golf Course at Delhi (Par 72, 6,542 yards). In the season opener, the Broncos' Joseph Burgin topped the leaderboard with a one-over-par (73), while the Builders' Jordan Plogger is one stroke behind (74) at number two. Aaron Oliver stands in third for Delhi at four-over (76), while Ryan Florak (79) and Alex Fisher (81) are sixth and seventh, respectively. Corey Haight sits in tenth at 11-over (83), while Frank Gargano is 12th at 17-over (89). Competition concludes tomorrow, starting at 8:30 a.m.
