Tom Smith enters his third year as the Broncos' Men's Basketball Volunteer Assistant Coach for the 2019-20 season. A longtime Delhi resident and 1986 graduate of SUNY Delhi, he has worked closely with the team as an instructor and mentor, helping guide the success of student-athletes as a member of Head Coach Zack Thomsen's staff. His role most recently paid great dividends when the 2018-19 program utilized their depth and teamwork to win the 2019 ACAA Championship.
Coach Smith works at Delaware Academy and spends time developing the DA basketball program by working with players to sharpen their abilities. This summer, Smith helped coach DA's Boy's (AAU), and summer session basketball to successful outcomes.
Tom resides in Delhi, N.Y. with his wife and daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and being involved in Delhi community activities.
