Jeremy Carmody is in his first season as the men's basketball assistant coach for the 2017-18 season.

Carmody is from Treadwell, N.Y. A graduate of Delaware Academy, Carmody originally attended SUNY Delhi from 2005 to 2009, earning an AOS Degree in Automotive Technology and an AAS Degree in Sports and Recreation management. He then served as a volunteer assistant coach at Hartwick during the 2010-11 season. Carmody became an intern facility manager at North Carolina Central from 2012 to 2013 before working as a basketball coach, mentor, referee and trainer at I9 Sports and IMPACT Basketball from 2013 to 2014. He moved on to IMG Academy, a boarding school and sport training destination in Bradenton, Fla., as a Campus Life Mentor from 2014 to 2016. Carmody was instrumental in the development and guidance of the student athletes, as well as overseeing the residential halls and administering a residential life curriculum. He was the Teen Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County from 2016 to 2017, before becoming a physical education teacher at Team Success A School of Excellence, a Title 1 Charter School in Bradenton, Florida, during the spring of 2017. Carmody is a Sports and Recreation major.
