Hamed Guitti is in his first season as the men's basketball assistant coach for the 2017-18 season.

Guitti, a native of New York City, is a 2013 graduate of Lower Manhattan Art Academy. He attended Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY where he played basketball for two seasons from 2013 to 2015. A 6’5” forward, Guitti averaged 9.4 ppg. and 7.6 rpg. his freshman year. He was named a CUNY Conference All-Star and Region 15 All-Star his sophomore year, averaging 15.4 ppg. and 11.0 rpg., while shooting 51.6 percent from the field. He transferred to SUNY Brockport his junior year, earning a letter before transferring to SUNY Delhi for his senior campaign. For the Broncos, Guitti averaged 9.3 points and 7.1 rebounds, while shooting a team best 52.4% from the field. Guitti scored over 20 points on 3 different occasions including a season best 24 points at Villa Maria on December 4th 2016. He also grabbed double digit rebounds in 6 gamers including saving his best rebounding performance of the season for his last college game, 14 at SUNY Canton on 2/19/17. This past summer, Guitti was a counselor at Camp Winadu in Pittsfield, MA, coaching basketball to boys of all ages. He is a Sports and Recreation major.
