DELHI, N.Y. (November 13, 2017) – In a contest eerily similar to their match at Vermont Tech on Wednesday, SUNY Delhi men's basketball was sent to overtime on a late, game-tying 3-point shot by the Falcons, suffering an 81-75 overtime defeat.

The Broncos held a late 65-55 lead with less than three minutes to play in regulation. The Falcons narrowed the gap to 69-67 with 12 seconds remaining, and sent Jake Slobe to the line on Delhi's ensuing possession. Slobe made the first and missed the latter, which was grabbed by Fisher's Jamontay Thompson. After a Falcons timeout, Thompson threw up a last-second, 3-point heave, which banked in to send the game to the extra frame tied at 70-70. Both sides exchanged buckets to begin overtime. Tied at 75-75 with 1:17 left, Fisher broke off and scored the last six points of the contest to pull out the win.

Slobe led the game with 21 points, making 5-of-11 3-pointers in 33 minutes off the bench. William Knight had 18 points, while Jordan Fragale had a double-double with 13 points and ten assists and Stephen Harten finishing with six points and ten boards. Payton Dean added nine points and six rebounds.

Delhi was outrebounded, 62-41, and shot 8-of-18 from the free throw line, while Fisher fared 20-of-30 at the stripe. The Broncos led, 34-18, in points in the paint, and held a 20-16 lead in points off turnovers, forcing the Falcons into 23 turnovers. Delhi also led, 10-2, in fastbreak points.
